10K Scoops Detroit 2025 Recap: Cadillac Square Park

July 24, 2025

If Detroit knows how to do one thing… it’s show up and show out! Huge hoof-fives all around for making our fourth 10,000 Scoop Challenge of 2025 one for the books.

On Wednesday, July 23, we teamed up with our friends at Country Fresh to dish out 10,000 FREE scoops of Original Moose Tracks right in the middle of downtown Detroit. It took less than four hours to hit our scoop goal and raise $10,000 for our amazing charity partner, The Salvation Army Metro Detroit.

Cadillac Square was buzzing with energy (and serious ice cream cravings). The sun was shining, the lines were long, and our hearts were full. Massive shoutout to the volunteers from The Salvation Army and Country Fresh who helped us scoop, smile, and serve all day long—we couldn’t have done it without you.

We were also joined by a flood of special local celebrities—including Michigan Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist, on-air radio personalities, U.S. Snowboarding Olympian Jake Vedder, social media influencers, representatives from Dairy Farmers of America, MSU College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Detroit Police Department, Detroit Fire Department, Downtown Detroit Partnership, The Salvation Army and friendly faces from local television stations like FOX2 Detroit/WJBK-TV, Click on Detroit/WDIV-TV, ABC Channel 7/WXYZ-TV.
