10K Scoops 2024 Tour Recap & Highlights

September 2, 2024

Our 2024 10,000 Scoop Challenge Tour was an unforgettable journey, combining the love of ice cream with community spirit. This summer, our team traveled across the US, bringing joy to ice cream lovers and raising significant funds for local charities.

Let’s dive into the season’s highlights and the memorable moments that defined this year’s 10K Scoops tour!

What is the 10,000 Scoop Challenge?

We wanted to remind our fans what the 10,000 Scoop Challenge, a.k.a. 10K Scoops, tour is.

The 10,000 Scoop Challenge is an annual event where Moose Tracks travels around the U.S. and gives away 10,000 scoops of our delicious ice cream and frozen yogurt at each stop. But it’s not just about satisfying sweet cravings; we partner with local charities and dairy partners, and for every scoop served, we donate $1 to a local organization, making the tour a perfect blend of indulgence and philanthropy. Our goal is to serve 10,000 scoops of ice cream in just four hours – the perfect philanthropic challenge!

10K Scoops 2024 Season Recap

This year’s tour was one for the books. We kicked off in early June in Tampa, FL, and wrapped up in mid-August in Boston, MA. Over the course of the summer, we traveled to four cities, including major metropolises and fun towns, each with its unique charm and enthusiastic ice cream lovers.

10K Scoops Boston 2024: Boston City Hall Plaza

August 26, 2024

Our fourth and final 10,000 Scoop Challenge of 2024 was incredible! We traveled to Boston, MA, on Tuesday, August 13, and served 10,000 scoops of FREE Kemps Original Moose Tracks Frozen Yogurt and donated $10,000 to The Salvation Army Boston South End Corps and The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services.

The event took place in City Hall Plaza, right in the heart of downtown Boston. The skies were blue, sun was shining, and crowds were excited to get their free scoop (or two) of Original Moose Tracks Frozen Yogurt. The Salvation Army Boston South End Corps and The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services invited local volunteers to come help set up, scoop, and hand out frozen yogurt all day long!

We invited local celebrity scoopers like social media influencers like Brian Pu Ruiz, also known as @cornersofboston (check out his post here!), city commissioners, sports teams and fire and police department officials to help us hand out ice cream. ABC Boston (WCVB-TV), NBC10 Boston (WBTS-TV), Telemundo Boston, and News7 Boston (WHDH-TV) happily joined us to cover the event and enjoy a scoop themselves. We appreciate the support we received from our celebrity scoopers and local stations in lending a hand and spreading the word!

There wasn’t a second that our mascot, Tracks the Moose, wasn’t dancing and interacting with fans. Tracks also had a buddy – The Salvation Army brought their Salvation Army Shield mascot to join in on the fun! Last, but certainly not least, we had a 360-slowmo booth on-site for attendees to enjoy. Believe it or not, the line for the booth was equally as long as the line for the frozen yogurt!
