Remembering Our Alaskan Roots

Did you know that Denali Flavors originally started as a family of “Alaskan Classics®” ice cream flavors? Our signature flavor has always been Moose Tracks®, of course, but at one time, Moose Tracks was surrounded with a plethora of Alaska-themed flavors. Many of these flavors have come and gone, but some of the Alaskan Classics are still available today!

You may recognize our company name, Denali, which comes from Denali National Park in Alaska. All of our flavor names and logos are rooted in indigenous Alaskan animals or other Alaskan icons. In the 1990s, we launched the “Alaskan Classics” family of flavors. Since that time, Moose Tracks has become a flavor phenomenon and many varieties of Moose Tracks have since been introduced. However, several of the original “Alaskan Classics” flavors are still being enjoyed today.
