Otter Paws Stuffed Apples

Three simple ingredients pull this light and refreshing dessert together. They’re a real crowd pleaser and are made from just a few simple ingredients. Add it to your summer cookout menu and tell us what you think! 

Instructions:

  1. Heat grill to medium-high heat. Allow it to warm up for a few minutes.

  2. In the meantime, cut the apples in half. Use a large spoon to scrape out the seeds and make a small “bowl” on the inside of each half.

  3. Brush the cut side of each apple with a little bit of oil and place cut-side down on the grill

  4. Grill for 3 – 5 minutes until grill marks appear. Next, flip over each apple and move to indirect heat on the grill.

  5. Grill for 5 - 10 more minutes to allow the apples to soften slightly.

  6. Remove from the grill, and to serve, top each scooped out “bowl” with a generous scoop of Otter Paws ice cream. If desired, serve with additional caramel syrup, granola, chocolate chips, or any toppings of your choosing.

  • 4 large apples

  • 8 scoops of Otter Paws, or any Moose Tracks flavor of your choosing!

  • Vegetable oil

  • (Optional) your favorite toppings, like caramel syrup or granola
